Broparkens Spelmadammer can perhaps call itself the biggest dance band of Umefolk. The reputation about this all-female folk music group has spread, and the orchestra continues to gather folk musicians from Umeå as well as from other cities, towns, and villages in Sweden. Their repertoire consists of new and old favorites, and regardless of what the team line-up looks like at the moment, the same musical interaction and joy of playing is offered at concerts or dances - both summer and winter. After a long festival break, the musicians look forward to finally being able to play at Umefolk again, just for you. Welcome!
